DO NOT BUY 'THE FALL GUY' on DVD ...THIS VERSION SUCKS!

I tell you...I will NEVER buy "The Fall Guy" on DVD until all of the songs and scenes that were cut are put back in the episodes~!

I am returning the complete season one set to the store that I purchased it from and I am going to continue to watch my film prints(96 episodes out of 110) of this fine, underrated series. When studios' employees begin REMOVING SONGS, SCENES and DIALOGUE from material that they are releasing via DVD, then it's time for me to bolt!

It's the nature of the Business...

90% of all TV shows Not getting their DVD release is due to music rights as UNCUT versions would be too expensive to produce

and it's not just DVDs... watching on Hulu they replaced the 'classic' songs with Fakes... but apparently some one wasn't paying attention, as the Lyrics to the original Music still comes up using Closed Captions, despite a generic instrumental playing

so face facts the versions that are Out are the only versions we're going to get

The complete series is up on iOffer, but not sure about the quality.

I don't care if they cut songs out of the episodes just as long as they they leave all the scenes with Heather in a bikini

Boston and Philly love to slander us, but they don't have as many fans as us

One of the worst shows of all time ! It is sad that anyone wants to own these shows at all ! They were terrible when they debuted and I am sure they are worse now. Buck rogers and a team also suck ! I am not a fan of most television shows except for twilight zone and outer limits original series and perhaps a few others.

QFT!

As I understand it this won't be a problem with contemporary shows (not that I care much about them, mind) as they secure the rights to use the songs for syndication, streaming and DVD when they make the deal to use them in the initial broadcast.

A show like Mimi Vice, where the music is arguable the most important element, has to pay the money to secure the original songs for their DVD release or why bother? But with a show like The Fall Guy, whose season 1 sales apparently didn't merit a season 2 release (at least in the U.S.) it's totally understandable why they don't go the extra mile.
