Anybody else want Sissy out of the picture?
I preferred the upscaled Pam and the potential she'd bring to the relationship. I always thought Sissy wouldn't know what to do in a crowd of strangers.

shareCouldn't disagree more.
shareNope. I liked Pam well enough, I mean she wasn't a super horrible person or anything and yes, she was "classy" in the material/physical sense of the word but she was only with Bud as a conquest, not because she genuinely loved him in the way Sissy loved him and he clearly didn't really care about Pam much at all, she was just there to fill the void of Sissy.
Also, Sissy is always in a crowd of strangers and seems to do just fine...
"Your petty vengeance fetish will have to do withOUT Mr. Groin!"
I was thinking that if I were Bud, I would definitely have stayed with Pam (and actually not married Sissy in the first place - but that's a different debate). Pam was far better looking, had a sweeter, more laid-back personality, possessed at least some cooking skills, seemed to really love Bud, and had class.
Odd; for me it's the same with An Officer and a Gentleman. I thought Zack would have been better off after he broke it off with Paula.
The common denominator between the two films is the actress.....
Might be too late for that
shareI think Bud was initially a sexual conquest for Pam. And she later admitted herself that she didn’t love him deeply. So I don’t think their relationship would have lasted in the long run, anyway. But she was certainly attractive and sexy.
shareSissy was no damn good.
sharePam is posh, a woman like that will soak up everything your worth and then dump you. lol.
Sissy was working class and had a better understanding of real life. I would take Sissy but both ladies have a certain attraction to them. Pam is definitely better looking....
Pam had more money than Bud could ever earn.
