Decent horror flick, but couple big plot holes

Obviously some mixed reviews on this 40+ year old slasher classic, which spurred 11 sequels. Couple things have always bothered me though, in the category of plot holes:

(1) How was Mrs. Vorhees strong enough to pin Ned to the door with arrows?

(2) If Jason didn't really drown, why is Mrs. Vorhees so pissed off still?

1. Rage can make you do superhuman things

Ignoring the sequels, in this flick he did drown. The jumpscare at the end is Alice's dream in the hospital.
