This was great, very well storyboarded, Planet Hoth, AT-AT's, Dagobah, Yoda, Asteriods, Cloud City, epic Light Saber battle!

Did it ever get better than this?

For me is still the best SW movie, although, e.g, The revenge of the Sith, Rogue one or The return of the Jedi are very good too.

Yes. Lucas lost his touch after this film. This and ANH are the pinnacle of Star Wars.

I don't know if it's really fair to call it "the last great" when it's simply widely considered the best. So of course anything after feels less, but that doesn't mean they're not great in their own right.
