TESB vs. ROTJ AT-ST comparison

I just watched the Hoth Battle to confirm something else but saw the brief AT-ST bit. Looking closer it was very much like it could have been a 2D animation rather than another real model.

I found these model comparison photos which is interesting, thought I'd share:

The legs really make the difference.

interesting, never seen pick of esb one before!!

Looks like the head has different proportions also. Maybe to make it more realistic in being able to contain the operators.

They improve the designs in ROTJ. I guess the ESB one is early variant.
