I've not really heard of hot young men who get paid for sex by women - does that really happen?

Like Michelle was a really attractive lady, if she wanted sex from a hot guy I'm sure it would have been really easy for her to get it for free, not have to offer a guy in a bar money for sex. How did she know he was for rent anyway?

Yes, they exist. Not all prostitutes are streetwalkers and not all are female.

From what I gather, Michelle, being a Senator's wife, knew people in L.A. whose job it was to provide escorts. Also, if women arrive in L.A. with nothing to do, they might hang out in an airport bar or a hotel bar, looking for companionship...which is where Julian meets her in the first place, as I recall.
