This Movie Freaked Me Out

The funny thing about my above comment is that I saw this on tv, in the early 80's sometime and I am still traumatized by it. I'm sure it was toned down from its R-rated theatrical release. I remember the wedding reception and the kid in the pool. For crying out loud, I only saw this once so long ago and its still scaring me. No wonder I'm petrified of alligators! Even at places like Busch Gardens/Florida they give me the creeps even being behind those fenced in barriers. I don't know what the movie would be like to watch now since I'm much older. Anyway, this movie still resonates in my brain as being freaky.

I never saw it when I was little, but it is a great scene. Fantastic film, holds up so well.

The only film that particularly traumatised me as a child is the television adaptation of Stephen King's IT. My family had/have some friends we used to go and see often, and they had little clown figurines all over the living room. I never did know why...

Emily? Who's Emily?

I saw the film ages ago & while I remember the gator crashing the wedding, lol, I don't remember any bit about a kid. I remember maid getting gobbled up, & then the gator deciding to use its tail to trash up some limo w/ some old guy in it, but that's about it!

I haven't seen this movie since I first saw it on TV as a kid (I bought the DVD years ago but it's still sealed on my shelf).

The one scene I still remember after all these years is - you guessed it - the pool scene.
