Hey man, or whoever wrote the OP, don't be mad that movies were better when they relied more on stories and characterization than computers.
In the old days, even books were better. Music too. Everything USED TO be better. That also includes actors.
So please... Don't be mad that actors who play the same slacker stoners in every movie with the same slacker stoner plot won't ever be considered as classic as the people in AIRPLANE or all the comedies as well as dramas that were so serious and grand they influenced AIRPLANE to poke fun at them.
Just live with it and... Let things be. Your anger can't turn classics bad.
But seriously... This post really does help me. I now cannot wait for the Boards to be shut down. The one thing that cracks me up on IMDb is how many people get mad at classic films merely because they're considered such.
