shareThey actually do a lot of film production in Yonkers. The city has a variety of neighborhoods, some look dangerous, gritty and urban and other blocks are full of gardens and tidy little houses, the sort of neighborhood you’d be happy to live in👍
There are streams and woodlands, there’s even a swamp (with some really good carp fishing!) in Yonkers.
The City has stood in for Boston, San Fran and lots of other locales.
A lot of film productions have shot in Yonkers, Kevin Bacon even filmed a few scenes for Loverboy on my block. His wife, Kyra Sedgwick pointed into my garden and mentioned my birdbath in the movie!
I thought that was pretty cool but it was a pretty boring movie tbh…
Whatever, I once owned a famous birdbath lol.
Why did you move from this house? You could have made millions doing a birdbath tour for Loverboy fans from all over the world.
