New question on the Greenhouse scene!

When Davis in the greenhouse was raped, James (played by a 17 year old Sean Chapman) was the first boy to take Davis. But in an earlier scene when the inmates were having visitors, we saw James sitting with his girlfriend, an attractive young woman who visited him in the visiting room. So when James lead the other 2 boys into the greenhouse to take Davis & have their wicked way with him, could James have been excited after his girlfriend's visit? Could seeing her have reminded him how much he missed sex with her while he was in borstal?

I thought she was his mum! I only saw the back of her so I assumed she was his mum. He seemed a bit young to be married. (I know you said gf but this was the 70s, people had to get married if they wanted to have sex).

To answer your question(s), yes.

Yes James could have been, and was, excited.

Excited enough that he just had to get his rocks off.

And, again, yes seeing her reminded him of how much he missed her tightness, so to speak.

So Davis was the next best thing to her, uh, tightness.

I assume he needed the other two guys as muscle to hold down Davis so he could y'know.

That's just my opinion tho.

I still do not understand why Davis was all on his lonesome tho.

Perhaps, although it seems pretty obvious that he was actually gay. Straight guys don't have sex with other guys, even if they are in prison...

James was actually visited by his girlfriend in another scene so I disagree there! I think none of the three boys that took Davis were gay, just desperate!

Haven't you ever seen Shawshank Redemption? The men who wanted to bugger Dufresne weren't homosexuals, as he wasn't. Didn't stop them from trying to do so, however.
