If anyone knows when this movie comes out on DVD

I got a great copy from the laserdisk at vintageshack.com. Great deal.

I'm thinking this will probably never be released on DVD. I suspect copyright probems with the soundtrack is the problem. (Many movies and TV shows met the same fate..... WRRP had to replace a substantial portion of their music track before it could be released.)

I have a clean transfer from a commercial VHS tape, as well as the soundtrack from the original 12" LP.

Once again, THIS-TV will be airing CALIFORNIA DREAMING. It's scheduled for Friday, June 8th at 6 PM Eastern time.

I suspect that it'll be the edited version, but then again, better than nothing.

i have not seen any posts about this movie for a long time but here goes- i have just bought this DVD from a company out of Canada-the web site is Rare Movie DVD and this is the original movie with the America soundtrack and it is AWESOME.

It's also free on Amazon Prime

Ned, just wanted to say that I LOVED the movie, and your role in it, but I've got to tell you, my memory of it, after not seeing it in so long, was that your role was actually played by Bruce Dern. Wondering if anyone's ever said that?
