Bill Bailey song
I first saw the film version at the theater 40 years ago. One thing I definitely remember is Buck singing the song “won’t you come home Bill Bailey, won’t you come home, you’ve been gone all night long”. I think it is when he was approaching Earth. I just saw the TV version of the movie yesterday on MeTV and I don’t remember hearing him sing the song. I remember when I first saw the TV version when the series premiered that some of the dialogue was changed because I guess it wasn’t appropriate for TV. I remember they changed Twiggy saying something like “my ball bearings are turning blue” to something else. Was the song one of the changes?
