Am I the only one who thinks that Piranha (1978) is way better than Jaws??

Probably, considering Jaws has much more interesting characters and the device they used when the shark stopped working (the barrel) is genius, I'd say it's much better than Piranha. It's a fun movie, but Jaws was all around brilliantly crafted.

Dude sorry to break it to you, but Jaws is fücking overrated as hell. It's a great film and all but like I just said, it's still overrated as hell, especially nowadays. lmao couldn't be more brutally honest with you about so. Regardless of that though, Pirahna is definitely a top-knotch cult-classic in its own right too. End of story.

Probably not the only one. There are billions of people on the planet. I'm sure more than one person likes Piranha more than Jaws. I think Jaws is the greatest film ever. Piranha is the best film about piranhas, though.

Check out Killer Fish (1979) with Lee Majors, Margaux Hemingway and the beautiful Karen Black. I love Piranha but if I could only have one it would be Killer Fish.

Jaws has consistently been in my all time top ten. Can't imagine anyone putting this in theirs. It's fun but that's about it.
