I didn't like it. I know that this film is well loved by alot of people but I just didn't find it funny at all. It didn't make me laugh once. Apart from that I also found it pretty boring. I'm a little confused as to why this film is so popular.

I agree I’ve never found this movie funny except for 1 or 2 parts and I’m pretty easily amused as well.
shareIt's not for everyone. People with a sophisticated sense of humor won't dig it. I grew up with the American Pie movies so I love the OG high school/college comedy.
sharewell, i just came across it for like the hundredth time... even though this involves john landis, harold ramis, john belushi... i never could get hooked on it, and it feels too messy and all over the place, i'm not saying it's a bad movie or anything, just that as i have come across this for years i've never been able to get engaged in it.

I've watched it a handful of times, first when it was released, and the last time a few years ago. It hasn't aged well IMO.
National Lampoon magazine, generally, and Animal House, specifically, were so scandalous at the time. Times have changed.
The last LOL comedy I've seen was Adam Sandler's "Just Go With It." I guess that was 10 years ago...
Humor is just probably not your thing.
Don't feel bad, just move on.
