If someone did this, I would never stop laughing!

But seriously, how apt would it be?! Those brain-washed people all act/think in the EXACT same way (ask a Maga to name a difference - any difference - between what they believe and what the movement believes, and they completely break down like Mitch McConnell)...and individually, they're the same person but not the same person (ever again) at the same time!

Let's get a fan cut of this movie w the Maga hats...I think it would be the best fan art of all-time!

I criticize the left because I am a disenchanted democrat. I loathe and despise how much the corporate left (not to mention the military industrial complex) influences the democratic party.

I don't have to follow your orders. You go through everything I've written on moviechat, you'll see I belong to neither the red nor the blue cult.

I wish I could say the same for you.

I'm a disenchanted Republican. I switched over to being an Independent during the W. Bush years. These days I consider myself part of the observer of the chaos party.

I really miss the days when we had two parties to choose from and if the president (or party) did a good job (regardless of their political affiliation) that they would be voted back into office even by members of the opposing party. And if the president did a Cr@ppy job he'd be voted out by his own party.

Unfortunately, these days we have robots like the original poster. I didn't always agree with Trump, but we had a good economy, and we weren't under the threat of more wars. That really is enough for me.

A good example is Bill Clinton. I hated him, but he gave us a banging economy for most of his presidency. As a person I thought he was the $hits, but to this day I give him credit for his economy. I'd go back to his presidency in a heart beat over the non heart beating "president" that we have now.

I'm sure most people would look at my original post and understandably think that I'm some Democrat or a far lefty or the like. But I'm much more close to your thoughts (enigmaticocean) than you'd imagine. Most people think they think for themselves...and in a lot of aspect in life, I don't think for myself...but I'd say the one thing I certainly think for myself on is politics. I see how awful both sides have become in a way that others (on one side or the other) don't. You think I like Joe Biden? PFFFFTT! I probably dislike him more than anybody you know. The Democrats are weak and ineffective...they're hardly the type of people I want to see run this once-proud country.

But to not be able to see a clear sort of Invasion of the Body Snatchers/Trump-followers connection is laughable. Seriously, test me out...find a true Trumper, like a really really brainwashed one. One that wears the Maga hats and has the bumper stickers and whatnot. Ask them to name something they disagree with the right wing media about in regards to Trump. Anything. Name one f-ing thing. They can't. They simply can't. It's so amazing to see. I've tested numerous ones out. And...Sorry if I don't see liberals acting quite like this. They're terrible too, yes. But not quite as brainwashed. If you can give me the honest equivalent of "QAnon" on the left wing, I'll believe you.
