I mean, I had known it was coming but I had figured, "Oh, here we go, another gratuitous sex scene, nothing to see here," but oh my Lord.
I'd watch the film again but I'm almost embarrassed to watch them :-O
The scene in Coming Home was really well done, but I have seen better. The Hairdresser's Husband, Damage, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Unfaithful, Aimee and Jaguar and An Affair of Love all, I think, had superior scenes. But Coming Home still ranks as one of the best.
Ever notice how the guy is rarely seen going down on the woman in movies? I remember The Cooler had a big controversy over just that.
