I was a little kid when this was on, I loved it. Watched many re-runs in the 80's. I never did watch Galactica 1980 as I was too upset when they cancelled the original series. I just re-watched many episodes and I sure would've loved to have seen this of had a 5 season run.
shareYeah, it should have had a second season at the very least. Apparently the show was pretty high in the ratings when it got canceled.
shareI LOVE this series also...especially its use of the EMS Vocoder 2000! They also used the Sennheiser VSM201 Vocoder for the sounds of Muffet and the launching of the the Colonial Vipers.

Question for you all. I've never really quite understood where the Vipers take off from? They launch out of those tunnels but where on the ship are those tunnels? Are they located on the front of the lading bay? They land from the backside and take off from the front? You never really quite see where those launch tubes are on the ship do you?
