c3po was pretty on point in this one

not as timid or useless like he was sometimes in the others.

on the death star he was effortlessly lying to imperial officers and storm troopers and barking orders at r2. he saved the day.

must have been his used car dealer side that was originally intended.

He was good at talking to the Falcon in ESB. And without him, Luke, Han, and Chewie would have been cooked and eaten by the Ewoks in ROTJ.

Don't get me wrong - I love EMPIRE STRIKES BACK more than any other Star Wars movie/show, but the treatment of C3PO in that movie was pretty nasty and abusive. It's almost like Lawrence Kasdan truly hated him.

STAR WARS runs a close second for me because I think the characters are a little more fresh and relatable. Also C3PO is a lot more balanced as a character and the interplay between the droids makes for good comic relief without going too far.

JEDI has the worst use of the droids because they serve absolutely no purpose on a covert mission behind enemy lines. It's also insane that they took along THE PRINCESS for such a task. She should have been in charge of the fleet or something but then would have been in the movie a lot less.

He really shined when they were in the presence of the Ewoks.
