... With all the different alien races in the Star Wars universe how would a public establishment like the Cantina accommodate all the different alien poopers? Or is the toilet just a big hole in the ground with a waste disposal being in there?
shareAs I was in the original cantina (real life, tunesia), i can tell you, they have an uni sex outhouse.
shareAlso, the city the Cantina is in doesn't look like it has a plumbing system. And they have to farm moisture, do they probably have to save all the alien piss they can get
shareThat's an interesting thing to consider, I never thought about it before. All those different bums in there. Alien spaceships would also have different toilets.
shareThink about what you have to endure on those calamari 'it's a trap' spaceships if you a human. The disease in the toilets must be lethal.
Maybe this is why the Empire stuck to mostly humans and robots.

Now, with that said, Mos Eisley is a generally scuzzy place, the cantina looks extra-sketchy, so I'm thinking that "big hole" and/or "trough" is what's going on in there.
idk, but i'm not touching it. you think truckstop bathrooms are bad? imagine a truckstop bathroom that's been touched by a thousand different aliens. i'm pretty sure some of those diseases would kill you instantly.
