Movie ok for a 7 year old?

I'd love for my nine year old to see it, but I would have to cut out a LOT of parts and I'm afraid he wouldn't get the jokes in others. I did use a video software on Animal House to to cut enough of the sex out to make it a PG-13 which he watches all the time.

Yes, this movie is great for a 7 year old. It's a story for the whole family full of good values. If your family is religious, there is a lovely piece about the education of young Catholic women. Your 7 year old will enjoy it. Give him a lot of napkins.

If your kid doesn't mind big naked boobs bashing into shower glass, Evening News tv-anchormen peeping on their ehmm..."love making" audience at home, people being decapitated and others being sent to Detroit, and so on.

Let me put it this way, it would probably be rated NC-17 if it came out now.

I don't know if the OP was serious, and the kid would be 16 by now, but anyway.

The movie is pretty violent in some parts and the sex is rather explicit for a non-porno. I also don't think that a 7 year old would understand most of the jokes. I think it better to wait.
