The show was canned cuz the cast were out of control

From recent interviews that I have read, most of the "kids" in cast were doing drugs and were out of control with bad behavior. ABC cancelled the show despite decent ratings -- it was a trainwreck to produce.

Love that Joannie was actually older in real life than her screen step-mom Abby. ha

You Tube has the opening theme segments to the show and the TV reunions.
The reunion with Willie Aames is a skanky mullet made me nauseous.

Mary (Loni O'Grady) had psyche/drug issues and went on talkshows to talk about it. She died of a drug overdose right after 9/11...possibly related.
Susan ( Susan Richardson ) was kidnaped by South Korean filmmakers and then had health issues, ended up living in a trailer in PA.
Willie Aames-Tommy was the biggest star, but blew all his millions on drugs and bad deals and ended up homeless. However he recovered and is now doing well.
Adam Rich-Nicholas also had drug issues.
All the others I think did not have issues.
This was one of my favorite shows as a teen, and now I'm rewatching it on Dailymotion.
