LOGAN'S RUN...EASILY...MINUS THE FAMOUS LINE,SOYLENT GREEN IS EASILY FORGETTABLE.

Soylent Green is more enjoyable for me. Neither is great cinema, but Soylent Green has better actors. Edward G. Robinson can make anything good, and Heston is always a joy to watch. Logan's Run has too many moments where you know you're supposed to feel Serious with capital S but instead can't help but laugh.

I prefer Logan’s Run but there is the suggestion in the film, I think, that the android Box is capturing escapees (runners), flash-freezing them and feeding them to the dome dwellers. So the two films have a cannibalism connection.

both were real cool for what the did AT THE TIME. I am old enough to have seen in theaters.

I’d give the edge to Soylent Green based on the more effective portrayal of a dystopian atmosphere. And Charlton Heston’s wisecracks.

Logan's Run

I don't even much like Soylent Green.

Soylent Green is far more impactful, insightful, intelligent, substantial, important.

Logan's Run is a little more fun to sit through.

Soylent Green feels grimly real. Logan's Run is more of a comic-book adventure.
