Film was shot in English!!!

They should change the laguage field on the imdb file for Keoma. In fact, the movie was not originally made in Italian, but in English. It clearly says it at the end of the movie before the titles. And that's the reason of Nero's accent: he was not dubbed, unlike the old woman for example, who's another Italian actress. I'm Italian (from the same city as Nero, actually), and watched the movie in Italian, cause it was the best quality version I could find. The mouth movement doesn't really go along with the wording. And Nero ends up dubbing himself! I then compared it with the English version on youtube and found that, along with some differences in the music edit (which has some mistakes in the Italian vers., like it gets cut off when a new scene starts, instead of fading), many lines are very different too. Like these:
- when at the beginning the old woman (which he refers to as "you who always arrive when life ends") says "aint you tired of killing", he instead of saying "I have to survive", yells with quite an emphasis: "the world is rotten!!!!!"
- at the end, when there's him and her again, instead of: "keep the baby or he'll die!" "he won't die! cause he's free and free men can't die" (or something similar to this), the lines are: "keep him, he needs you!" "he doesn't need me cause he's free and free men don't need anything!"
Now I think that this does change the mood of the movie and the character itself a lot. I wonder what there was in the original script.
