I was just wondering where Desiree got the gas for her boat? She spends an awful lot of time speeding through the swamp in it, but she doesn't go to town? I guess we aren't supposed to think about things like that?

It's probably a fair guess that she "borrowed" it (e.g., by siphoning) from unattended other boats in the area, same as with a car.

Most people who have places out in the swamp have large containers for fuel. Many times not only is fuel needed for outboards, but for generators too.
