who's the best host?
I only remember two of the many hosts of this show. Louie Anderson and Richard Karn. Out of the two, I like Richard Karn better.

shareI like Louie Anderson Version
My order
John O'Hurley- Hes a good host and hes funny i like his style
Ray Combs-Hes also funny and a good host
Louie Anderson- Hes a pretty good host hes not the best but he had funny moments and i always laugh at his jokes.
Richard Dawson- I like his first couple of years he was really good but after he started kissing people he started getting a rude attitude and i lost interest.
I don't like Richard Karn hes lame his jokes sucks he was never funny. Hes probably just good for watching the show for the game.
AL Rooker im happy that they got a African American host. I would Rather see Al Host the price is right Or lets make a deal
1: John O'Hurley!!
2: Ray Combs
3: Louie Anderson
4: Richard Karn
5: Richard Dawson
I haven't seen Celebrity Family Feud so I don't know where to put Al Roker, but I would probably put him above Richard Dawson or Richard Karn...

Love John O'Hurley...he has that classic game show host voice and gives great "are you serious?" looks to contestants.
my order:
1 Richard Dawson the originator also did a great job hosting the Running Man game show...lol
2 Ray Combs...just was a great great host that made it look like everyone, including him, was having the time of their lives
3 John O'Hurley for reasons stated above
4 Richard Karn had his funny moments...same incredulous look he would give Tim on Tool Time carried over nicely
5 Louie Anderson for a stand-up comedian I guess that I just expected him to be way funnier, was painful to watch at times.
I hope Steve Harvey does well also so I can place him somewhere up here someday. So far he seems a little stiff and he has a bad habit of calling men "boy" like he is still talking to Romeo and Bullethead...
Well, obviously everyone is gonna have their own favorites list and i can and have to respect that..but speaking as someone who grew up with R.D. and the original Family Feud, i can see that most viewers in general base their decision on who the current host was when they started watching. My list goes as such:
Richard Dawson: He's the one and only original and the best.
Ray Combs: This guy had the misfortune of following R.D. and therefore he was immediately disliked. But to me he was funny, if a bit dry, and very quick witted and likable.
Louie Anderson: Okay, i first saw Louie on Rodney Dangerfield's 9th Annual Young Comedians special in 1984 and have been a fan every since. On Feud he was kind of a gentle bear and he just always seemed genuine to me and treated the contestants as such.
And now it gets harder cuz after that i stopped watching on any real regular basis but i've seen each host.
Steve Harvey: While i do think he's spends a bit too much time being a comedian, at least he has a lot of fun with the contestants, which makes it more interesting to me.
John O'Hurley: Yeah, he's okay and he has that distinctive voice but meh..to me he's more than a bit stiff.
Richard Karn: What a colossal bore.
Al Roker: On a personal level i like him better than Karn but as a game show host he just always seems like such a bumbling baffoon.
I started watching Family Feud when Louie was the host, so I'm gonna rank from him on.
1. Steve Harvey - by far the funniest. His reactions to bad answers are priceless
2. John O'Hurley
3. Louie Anderson - surprised so many don't like him... I thought he was pretty funny. I miss his "Dumbest Answer of the Day" award
4. Richard Karn.
"Where'd you get the beauty scar tough guy? Eatin' pineapple?"
1. Richard Dawson - GSN needs to show old shows from the 70s-80s like they used to. The guy was hilarious. Kissed every woman every time. Even as an old man hosting the show he was pretty funny.
2. Steve Harvey - He is way better than I thought he'd be. I agree about his reactions to bad answers. You can tell he's a comedian. His timing is perfect and he makes things funny that would otherwise be awkward, like some of his extra long pauses on certain answers. He fits in with everyone on the show. You can tell he likes people and is having a good time. It makes the show fun to watch.
Next up - Solid/Reliable hosts but not great.
3. Ray Combs - I always enjoyed watching the show as a kid and he was the host.
4. John O'Hurley - He may not be the funniest but at least entertaining and watchable.
Next up - How did they get the job in the first place.
5. Richard Karn - When I watched episodes with Karn when they first came out I thought he was pretty good. Now when I watch them he is awkward and seems to make the guests uncomfortable more often than not. He didn't seem to know how to make fun of an answer without it feeling like an insult it seems like he would choose the ones that actually cost the family the round... or game in some cases. I think I liked him because he followed Louise Anderson and he was funny on Tool Time.
6. Louie Anderson - Least favorite host - to me he was annoying. That voice of his was like finger nails on a chalkboard. I didn't watch many episodes with him.
