Different types. Why does anyone find any movie appealing? For me its the music, the tribute to the old B movies, the styling, and the sexual inhibition theme. You don't really have to like everything about a film to fid it appealing.

This movie isn't for everyone. I love this movie, but my husband hates it and always rolls his eyes and scoffs when I mention it. I'll be the first to admit that it's a ridiculous movie, that's part of the reason why I love it. The plot is way too out there to be taken seriously (which is what I like), the songs are catchy, the costumes and set are weird and bright, and my childhood crush was tim curry. Those are all the reasons why my husband hates it
It's just one of those movies you absolutely love or absolutely hate. Now I'm going to watch it tonight while my husband is out of the house.
Tim Curry was my childhood crush as well. Clue, The Worst Witch, RHPS - hell, even Legend where he played Darkness! Oh I just love him so!

shareNot too many guys can pull off that look and still come off macho. I loved Tim Curry in almost everything he was in. My son used to watch the Wild Thornberries and he was the voice of the father.

Since I saw the Rocky Horror Show Live first I prefer it to the movie, maybe you would too.

A matter of taste obviously but for me it's the music and the Wonderful Weirdness of it all.

One of the things I enjoyed other than the weirdness of it all was the audience participation, which got lost in the film/DVD version
