If the shark's digestive system was so slow

The girl at the start of the movie
The dog
The Kittner kid
The guy in the boat
Quint

All their body parts would have been flung all over the place when Brody shot the air tank and the shark exploded.

Don’t be stupid your whole life. It was weeks after when the shark was blown up

The movie takes place over a week or so, although certain errors make it difficult to pinpoint exactly. This may help:

It waa the shark's head and upper torso that actually exploded, everything from the stomach on down would have quietly sunk when the head and buoyant lungs went boom.

I'm SO glad that nobody suggested to Spielberg that a little boy's head should fall into the water next to Brody! He probably would have done it.

Although Quint’s head floating up and bobbing while singing “ Farewell and adieu to you fair Spanish ladies
Farewell and adieu to you ladies of Spain” would have been epic.

Yes. An opportunity missed.

Alex Kittner and the dog were killed on June 29th. The girl was eaten in the early morning that same day.

Assuming the Orca took off on July 5th, the Shark would have been destroyed on the 6th.

Even with the shark's slow digestive system, the first 3 victims have long since been digested. Even the 4th of July victim would be gone by then if Hooper's 24-hour suggestion was accurate. So, at most there might have been Quint's remains in there. But as others have stated the sharks head was the only part to really explode, the rest stayed mostly intact.

Good point
