Good. I would hate to think what the modern liberal Hollywood would do to butcher Jaws. No doubt they would find a way to make Quint black and gay.

They would either call it a Great Black shark or a Terrible White shark. Certainly "Great White" would not make it into the final script.

why wouldn't he? spielberg rejected the offer to make jaws 2, and was even asked to direct jaws 4. there's absolutely no reason to pursue this project.

Good to hear. Was going to say that I can't believe this hasn't been remade. Still a great film and entertaining after all these years. Doesn't need a remake, just watch the original!
