Safety Adaptations on the Show

It appears the reason we had been watching episodes that had been filmed before the pandemic was because the people working on Wheel were adapting the set to new guidelines for keeping everyone safe.

We watched at least 2 new episodes recently, and they made it so all 3 contestants were 6 feet apart from each other (they modified the panel to be wider too), and each contestant has a little "white thingy," as Pat calls it, so they can safely grab the tines on the wheel to spin it without leaving their germs on it for the other players. Pat also can't stand next to any of the contestants right now, he has to stay 6 feet away too, but thankfully, nobody has to wear a mask on set. Vana has it the easiest, because she's all the way over by the game-board anyway.

What puzzles me is how the contestants can still win vacations in this game. Aren't most of these places shut down or banning Americans from traveling there?
