Just watched the film's death count on YouTube and it didn't half tickle me. The scene where the woman falls from an elevator and bumps on the architecture below had me bursting with laughter - especially when her scream abruptly ceases. And what about the people crashing through windows whilst on fire... one guy even does it just because he's a bit wet - WTF!
Man, I can still taste the melodrama. Good stunt work though.
lol! I felt the same way in Titanic when one of the passengers took a huge tumble from a funnel all the way down and along and onto the deck of the broken ship. I couldn't help it because when people fall over in life it's just alway funny. (I wouldn't have laughed if i'd been on that ship tho!)
The character falling out of the elevator never struck me as funny. It was upsetting, if you watched her character, throughout the movie.
shareI know this is an old thread, but I've just watched the film for the first time. The woman falling from the elevator had me in stitches, especially when she bounces off the side of the building. After rewinding that scene over and over, it's still an absolute riot. Kudos to the powers that be for having the gonads to kill off her character. Too bad they played it too safe with the children.
