Intro Scene

In the beginning, Doug Roberts is transported in a Jet Ranger 206 to the
building heliport....But I always wonder why he flies during the trip
repeatedly....at sea level.

Do you know if really it's allowed this level of flight ?
Or they start passing over rules....very common thing in this movie.

I don't know, but I'll always remember that sequence as the only time I ever got motion sickness. I was a teenager watching it at a first-run theater and didn't know what was wrong with me, but if I hadn't closed my eyes I would have thrown up. I was fine a couple minutes later. I can ride in cars, planes, boats, amusement park rides, no problem, but that title sequence almost finished me off.

This was actually really funny.

Great opening to the movie with the superb score in the background.

I love the opening sequence!

Because it has the worst editing I've ever seen!

The helicopter flies north along the coast, it flies south. It flies inland, it flies back to the coast. It approaches from one angle, it approaches it from a different angle. It's massively entertaining!
