Why didn't Thunderbolt take Lightfoot to a hospital.

He clearly saw that he was in trouble. Slurring words, falling down....etc.

It was to late to take him to the hospital. He didn't show anything wrong until he got into the car at the end.

He should have gotten to a hospital somehow, at least. Whether it be hitchhike and get someone to just take Lightfoot alone, get somewhere where someone could have taken him, something.
