Ya, I always wondered that too. He wasn't bleeding or appeared physically hurt at all. Fred Williamson says he will "let these hens keep pecking" at him. What could that mean? It was like they just totally broke his spirit. They also didn't want to be interrupted. When I watched it as a kid I thought they were raping him. pooninator666 is right. Saw this movie as a kid with my dad, he really loved to see these funky soul brother type of movies. Now from what I remembered seeing this as a kid, I tend to agree with pooniator666's line of thinking. Because I always thought that whatever they did to the guy was sexual which is why they went in there all bare breasted. Maybe they teased him, taunted him, did some real nasty woman stuff to get him excited or frightened or whatever.

From what I read on Wikipedia regarding this film was that they were supposed to have bags full of torturing instruments but as a kid I don't remember any of that. Basically I thought it was all about sex or some mind game, ego type of torture that they did.
Jeepster7, I never said anything about them beating or cutting him or doing anything to leave a mark. With three beautiful women rubbing up on him and promising nirvana he'd be hard as a rick. The catheter would be small enough to hide in a small case in a pocket until needed. There would be no mark on the outside, just itty-bitty shards of glass inside his shaft, cutting him apart...painful, but not fatal.
