Does anyone here NOT like this movie?

I love godfather part 2, but I think the first one is better

I like the movie (but it's not a patch on the original)

I think this is the best in the series, It's got it all and is such a delight to look at.

It’s not my favorite. I think the plots are oddly intertwined, and the overall film seems disjointed. The Cuba plot, the Rosetto/Pentangeli plot, the Senate hearings, Tahoe - why Tahoe?, and Michael’s odd fixation with having a second son.

Kay and Michael’s big fight is my least favorite scene. The way she yells “an abortion, Michael!” is just overacted. I never thought Keaton was a good fit for the part. That scene just disappoints every time.

The young Vito scenes are OK, but some of the music is too peppy and sets a pantomime mood that undercuts the drama. DeNiro and Bruno Kirby’s Italian is not good, which is jarring.

All the interior scenes are too dark and too yellow. Why so much yellow and brown tones?

The dislikers I've encountered in real life cite differences in taste, so their pov isn't based on hate.

On this forum, most of the anti GF rhetoric is just a combination of trolling and temporal arrogance by mostly under 30 viewers who who can't relate to the characters or the time.

I love it, it’s one of my favorite films of all time. Like its predecessor it’s a classic.
