What made Mary 'Dirty'?

Thought I would get some opinions.

I am going to say it was because she could not find toilet paper in the house where they were fixing the car the first time. Yep, that would leave her kinda "dirty".

Everyone here has pretty much covered it with as many inappropriate comments as they can muster but they're right. Remember at the swap meet the biker gang call her out for acting like a snob when they obviously know from previous dealings with her that's she's definitely got nothing to be a snob about. She's a fast, loose, white trash woman whose first appearance in the film is in bed at a cheap motel after having a one night stand with some dude who just breezed into town.

Yeah but I liked her... She looked like the girls in the 70's looked....

Are you hairy, Mary?

You`re my wife now.

Were those her real teeth? She MUST have been wearing some sort of mouthpiece to make her all snaggle-toothed like that. Plus they were so very bright white. Photos of her in the 80's seem to show nice straight teeth. Anyway, good job either way -- they really added to her "look."

My guess is it probably had a lot to do with how, at her youthful age, those four bikers knew her quite well, and in the Biblical sense of knowing...

She was a HO-wurrr.

...or, as my grandmother would have said, a hooo-er.
