What made Mary 'Dirty'?
Thought I would get some opinions.
I am going to say it was because she could not find toilet paper in the house where they were fixing the car the first time. Yep, that would leave her kinda "dirty".

I don't think she was dirty enough to be honest. She should have left a "dirty protest" atop one of the squad cars.
shareIt was 1974, not 2015.

Don't know, but I hell of love her outfit. Damn seventies: I was a kid at the time and all those girls around in platforms and bell bottoms made me crazy
(and still do today)!!!

Lowlife white trash slut. Looks as if she probably smells.
shareDang, right. I'd like to take a time machine back tot he seventies before AIDS, and get with a whole lotta Dirty Marys!

Skanky would have been a better title. What is with 70's movies where white trash or criminals laugh too much at stupid stuff. It's quite annoying and quite prevalent in these type of movies. Did all screenwriters get the same rule book?
shareI agree, and as humorous as all of the replies were, she still wasn't exactly "dirty."
shareShe was not literally dirty but she was a whore. All the guys says she is a whore and she admits in the beginning to Larry she may as well be paid for being a whore. What part of dirty=whore is so confusing?
The people you idolize wouldn't like you.
She was a "risk-q" woman.
