Do you think they will remake this one too??

Hope so, it's a classic worst Movie ever...

I hope not. It's a classic; leave it alone.

A straight up remake wouldn't work. But a modern day re imagination could actually work. Lets face it, the acting was sub par aside from Fonda, the dialogue was really bad, there was plenty of useless filler(all of the scenes involving the police precinct requesting back up. there was 4 or 5 of these scenes and non of them were really necessary. Dragged down the pacing). And The story could feature some other elements besides the police trying to catch them. I thought it was interesting when those guys knew mary and threatened her. I feel like that could have been fleshed out a lot more and be made into a subplot. Possibly she has a history with them or she could have stolen something from them that they want back. More chases couldn't hurt!

Failed nascar(or lesser stock car league) race driver and his pit crew member rob a grocery store, along the way they get involved with mary and take her along for the ride in lets say, a charger srt8(stolen of course). Than they meet up at the second spot and get something with a bit more muscle. A Viper acr would be sick. Less crap about trying to find a proper route and more fleshing out the characters. If we added the sub plot with marys past and the group looking for her then we could have a lot more conflict among the group and sympathize with them halfway through when it becomes apparent that getting away will be a lot more difficult then once thought. Stick with the same ending, but I'd involve a bigger final chase. go bigger then blues brothers! 150 cop cars! Set it in northern california for scenic shots and it would be cheap to film because the roads are emptier.
