...is so bad, that there is no way Blazing Saddles could be made today. That's so sad to me bc it's one of the best films ever.

I guess in this case , the OP is probly right. There *would* be an adverse reaction due to the gratuitous use of the word nigger in a derogatory capacity , in a comedy film too.
