Did Mongo really punch the horse?
I watch that scene over and over and wonder how they did it since it looks pretty real. Did he really punch the horse?

shareYes. back in the 70's it was normal for Animals to smacked or even killed on set.

It was completely fake. You can see the rider pull the reigns before the punch was delivered.
In addition, it wasn't normal for that. There were animal advocacy groups which would have screamed bloody murder had he actually knocked out the horse.

Were you trying to be sarcastic? Because if you were, you forgot to add humor to it.
shareI wasn't trying to be sarcastic, i was being sarcastic.
No humour was required, it was SARCASM, not sarcastic humour. Do you understand the difference or should i explain it to you??

Oh, I see. You are stupid.
You see, it used to not be a big deal when animals were treated inhumanely by TV shows and movies. Think back to the days of The Three Stooges and they were riding on the horse with the broken back. So, when said that they used to do stuff back then, it seemed like you were one of those retards who couldn't tell the difference between stunt-acting and the real thing.
Really, I think it would be better if you stopped posting. You fail at it miserable.

The horse was struck, but he took it like a man.
