shareNo, he really shouldn't.
I will admit, I loved House of 1000 Corpses, but after the atrocious Lords of Salem, he shouldn't be allowed to pick up a camera ever again.

he should remake a horror version of Twilight in his trailer trash style
Rob Zombie is one of the greatest directors today
Have to disagree. The remake was already pretty similar to his Halloween remake. Actually it was better.
shareI've enjoyed all of Rob Zombie's films so far, The Lords of Salem being my favorite of his. But part of the reason this movie is so great is that we don't know anything at all about "Billy" (or even if that's his real name). In interviews, Rob Zombie has stated one of the first things he wanted to do with his Halloween remake was to give Michael a backstory and to put a face behind the mask. While his Halloween movies aren't bad by any means, I think of them as a different Michael Myers and a different Haddonfield with no connection to the original series. The mystery aspect to Black Christmas is the greatest part of the film. If Billy were to be given a backstory like Michael, it would ruin that aspect so it's really not necessary. Rob is at his best when making original films anyways.
sharei agree. he's a great director
shareTerrible idea. He would gore it up too much and change the ending. And it would be ridiculous with his terrible actress but gorgeous wife. The creepy killings with lack of gore and the ambiguous ending are what make this movie a slasher/horror classic.
