They should teach this in journalism school.

Kolchak needed some guile and diplomacy.
That way he wouldn't have to work harder, he could work smarter. But never losing his great ability of detecting B.S.
I agree with you, today's journalists are just reporters.

Watching now and just thinking that. Forget the "weird" angle of this show. What an absolutely brilliant depiction of an intrepid diligent reporter. It's almost like a fantasy today. The writing is really tight too. It moves right along, chasing down the angles of the case and everything. No nonsense. I wouldn't mind a show like this that was just about normal news investigation.
