Black sitcoms worthy of a reboot

With the success of Fuller House and Girl Meets World, there has to be at least one black sitcom that's capable of a reboot. Here are some suggestions, and reasons why some would be next to impossible. Any thoughts?

Cosby Show - Highly unlikely due to scandal
Family Matters - Highly unlikely due to Jaleel White swearing never to play Urkel again.
Parent Hood - somewhat unlikely because not popular enough
Hangin with Mr. Cooper - somewhat unlikely, not popular enough
Martin - highly unlikely with incident between Martin and Tisha, plus with Tommy dead, you can't have the show return without all five players
227-nhighly unlikely, not popular enough and Regina King has many other projects
A Different World - Somewhat likely but might catch flack since Bill Cosby created it, although the cast still get along and made an appearance on Oprah recently, plus Debbie Allen still has a lot of pull to get it back, I'm just worried that people will try to connect it with Cosby to give it a chance
Good Times - Somewhat unlikely. It was a 70s show know for covering 70s political and social issues. I can't see it transitioning well into the 2010s. The actors havent been in the acting business for years. JJ hasn't aged well. Ether Rolle is dead and James(the character) is dead.
Diff'rent Strokes - highly unlikely, sadly most of the cast is dead
Fresh Prince - Somewhat likely , even though the show was popular, Uncle Phil brought an element to the show and James Avery is dead. Could be possible if Will is willing to humble himself and return to sitcom acting.
Moesha - Highly unlikely, not as popular and Brandy couldn't stand Moesha
Girlfriends - Somewhat likely - there is a demand for a movie , but Tracee Ellis is busy on Blackish, plus there might still be bitterness from the abrupt cancellation
Steve Harvey Show - Merlin Santana is dead and Steve Harvey has moved on to a successful career so I can't see him doing a sitcom again\
Jaime Foxx Show - Same reason for Steve Harvey with the steve harvey show.
Sister Sister - most likely - the twins are still on the rader with cooking show and acting plus tim reid and Jackee are still in the business

It's safe to say that they need to leave those shows in the past and we need newer and fresher black sitcoms.

I just remembered That's So Raven is coming back , even though it's fairly recent

Exactly, reboots suck. It just means that Hollywood has no originality and has to wreck the classics...

I want to see new ideas no more bringing old shows back. I watched Fuller house thought it was pretty boring and Girl meet world also was okay. We need new ideas.

I don't think any tv show should ever be re made unless it includes the original cast.

Remakes with new casts only work for certain movies that's storys are bigger then the actual actors but with TV it's really not realistic because the audience grows accustomed to seeing those actors playing that role throughout each episode that the series runs.

So trying to remake it with new faces would most likely draw bad reviews and no interest I would think.

Something like Living Single could work.

Joss Whedon was supposedly developing a continuation of the 'vampire slayer' where a prior slayer (who was going to be African American) has her own role, history and story. Fans talked him out of recasting Buffy and giving this actress her own unique character

They won't show Blacks in the projects. Any new Black sitcom would have to have the Blacks as wealthy professionals living in the suburbs. This is a different time now. It would also have to be very politically and racially charged. No fun allowed.

No What's Happenin? You're a straight up jive turkey!

They need to reboot them with characters of different ethnic backgrounds. The Jeffersons, for instance, could be about a family from a trailer park finally moving into a studio apartment.

A Different World was about people attending a historically Black College. This would still be interesting and still could get stories. No rule that Cosby has to be attached/involved. After all the VP graduated from a historically Black College.

I would not be in favor of it but I could see a GT reboot. JJ not living in the projects but living in a lower income neighborhood. This would be the opportunity to comment about social issues. Michael would have been a college professor but now retired. John Amos supposedly has made his peace with Norman Lear so I would expect the whole storyline about James dying to be eliminated with maybe Amos doing a few minutes per episode. Amos is up there in terms of age so he may not be available. Who knows.
