Which world would you visit?

OK, you may be thinking you'd never visit any of those "worlds" if you could. Even putting aside their disastrous ending, they're really expensive (at least in today's dollars) and have plenty of flaws pointed out here on IMDb. But this hypothetical is about preferences among the three romanticized settings. Which appeals to you most?

I suspect that the most popular answer would be Western World, partly for its relative recency, partly for all the TV and movie references to be made, and partly because it's what we see the most in this movie. Medieval World might give it a run for its money, considering all the Renaissance fairs. Then again, maybe that's a reason not to bother with Medieval World: It's little more than a renfair with robots.

But my vote is for Roman World. It's the most exotic. The one I'm most likely to learn from, tho I'd make sure to fact-check later. The one with the most comfortable-looking clothing. And the one with the best reputation for hygiene.

I'd go for Medieval World. But really, if they tried to recreate each world authentically, each world would be a dismal place to live in. They'd be dirty and boring. They didn't have gunfights or jousting matches every day. Most days are just boring drudge work of selling things and sitting around killing time.

And with real authenticity, you'd have trouble communicating anywhere but Western World.

Well, that's why the designers would stop way short of actual authenticity. People come there to enjoy themselves, not to experience the horrors of what it was really like back in the good old days.

So, everyone would speak English, there'd be no diseases, the dirt would be minimal, food and water would be clean, the place wouldn't smell like *beep* and there'd always be something to do.

These are theme parks though they are romantic versions of what people perceive these settings were like not actual recreations. I would personally go to West World I think but maybe not I don't like horses.

To make a great film you need three things - the script, the script and the script -Alfred Hitchcock

Yes! I'd choose JW as well. As for OP's question, I'd opt for Medieval world.
