If I hate Barbara Streisand will I like this movie?

I'm a huge movie lover, and I can appreciate a good movie when I see it, even if I'm not particularly fond of the cast...however I strongly dislike Miss Streisand and considering she's a large part of the film do you think it'll ruin it for me? Or is it still worth watching?

And if anyone is wondering why I don't like her, I can't explain it haha she just bothers me. I do respect her accomplishments I just don't particularly enjoy watching her on the big screen.

Its appears its Barbara playing Barbara which I found her annoying and at the same time time feeling very sorry for the character she played. As you might guess I'm no fan of hers, but you can't deny her talent.

I hate her too, and no, you won't.

"Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?"

Its Barbara's politics everyone hates admit it. In this movie she is 100 political Barbara, so how do you think you'll like it?

I'd suggest you get over it, and watch an intelligent movie.
It might even cause you to examine your issues with her.

@ jack31961 : Most unintelligent comment of the thread....I guess I should hate the TEN COMMANDMENTS because of right winged, gun wacko Heston!

I have been a fan for many years and after watching this for the second time I have decided that I find her insufferable as an artist: she manages to make everything revolve around herself, the music, the cast, the story and of course, the photogtraphy. she plays only unflawed characters so she can remind audiences around the world that she has big opiniong (bigger than everybody else's) and that she's very confident about her looks. every single one of her movies is about a guy who spends a lifetime trying to wrap his head around why he loves this woman so much and the answer always is because she was wonderful from the beggining and that's what she's been trying to tell you all along.
dreadful movie. I'm curious to know how much of the original draft Mrs Streisand left intact that didn't interfere with her agenda.
