That scene in a movie that makes you want to watch it again....

The part where Paul Newman walks....or stumbles into the train car to play cards. He is Soooo funny and crude! LOVE IT!
This whole movie keeps me coming back to watch it again!

But, there is no plot, MF. Trying to rob a crook because he killed a crook is just thin.

That's such an idiotic summary of the plot that I'll have to assume you're trolling. Luther's death only inspired the Lonnegan con. Everyone did it for the money. The revenge factor was icing on the cake. The build up and resolution of an elaborate con job doesn't qualify as a plot?

I agree. It's one of those movies where you actually have to watch and pay attention........... Imagine that! [Eye Roll]

I don't think it was until the 2nd or 3rd time I watched it that I caught the line "the bastard-- he can blow his nose the whole way." The film is full of great lines like that, and details that surface later in reference to earlier moments.

Too many scenes in this film to pin down to even a half dozen.

This is two movies in one: the second time you watch is totally different than the first time. I've never had so much fun being conned!

😊 Yes! Isn't it wonderful?

Yeppers. One of my top 10 films.

That's what was thinking. How can I pick just one scene? Love this movie!!!

"Dammit! There's no answer at Luther's!"

"Christ, they'll probably miss you and hit me."

"You can't play your friends like marks, kid."

Hooker's manicure was also pretty funny.

All great scenes! It's such a great movie, you can't just pick one!😊

That might be my favourite scene in the film, but all of it is highly entertaining to me.

One of my favourite films for sure.
