How did they react the twist ending? I was alone and I almost started clapping.

My grandmother saw it in the cinema. She said everyone let out a big "OOOOHHHH!" and they all sat there gobsmacked during the credits

When the film was re-released, the tagline read, "Remember how good it felt the first time?"
