Memorable scene

I must say I'm disappointed to see posts saying it would not have been a big deal for Serpico to be corrupt like everyone else. The scene that stands out for me as indicative of the depravity of the other officers is where Serpico arrests a man involved in numbers running and loan sharking. The other pathetic excuses for police officers have a friendly chat with the guy and tell Serpico not to be so rough on him, since he's "good people". Serpico then finds out that the guy's rap sheet includes being a cop killer! How anyone could possibly defend this culture of corruption is beyond my comprehension.

Yeah this scene stood out for me. Favorite pacino scene...and russian roulette is my fave deniro scene.

Would not have been a big deal is the point of the movie. Those people who said that were lost. Its the point. It really wouldnt be a big deal if he was corrupt and the opposite happened. It was made a big deal. If serpico was crooked then it would so not be a big deal that it would probably still be going on today.

Good scene, makes me laugh when Serpico is slamming the chair up and down on the floor.

The arrest of the loan shark + the scene where Pacino yells at the officer who almost shot him ("You shoot w/o looking? You shoot w/o a warning")

Those 2 scenes are the best scenes in the movie
