shareMadura. They were managed by the director of this movie, who also managed the band, Chicago, whose members played some of the hippies.
None of the music on Madura's album really lives up to the concert footage in this movie.

And one of the hippies was a very young Nick Nolte! You can see him more towards the end when they are leaving the hippies in their compound.
