Your list is quite reflective of mine in many ways. And in a lot of folks for that matter. The one episode a lot of people love is "A long time from Time Square". If fact you have it at #5. This is the one I am scratching my head over as to why everyone loves it. I am all alone in putting this very near the bottom of Kojak episodes. To each his own, I suppose.

"A Shied for Murder" is a piece of art. That could have been a big screen movie as it was done so well.

I guess many fans like me enjoy Long Way From Times Square because it is so off beat. I like how Crocker knows Kojak was in the van due to the matches as Theo has a unique way of lighting his smokes, also I really like how the Savalas brothers foil the operator by speaking Greek.....looks like you are the exception to the rule of most Kojak fans not liking this episode.

I'm not into the times square one either, but it does have a few funny scenes. Reminds me of one of those Kojak movies that happened after the show.

I will add that pretty much all of them are good to watch when you haven't seen them yet. It's just that there are a bunch of really good ones you can go back and watch over.

Take Care
