I don't think I cried about Snoopy leaving Charlie Brown - it was about the little sick girl all on her own, missing Snoopy. (Sob!)

I saw this in theaters at about age 5 or 6 and bawled like a baby at Snoop's going away party scene. Even as an adult, I find it kind of a sad movie. A BOY NAMED CHARLIE BROWN can be a bit of a tear-jerker too in spots.

I am 34 and remember when I was a kid that it was so heartwrenching that I cried. I do have to admit though, if I saw it today, it probably would STILL bring a tear to my eye, especially the music.

I did, too. I thought it was the worst Snoopy movie yet. It was okay. I give it 3 stars out of 5. I use to think Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was the best Harry Potter film, but nowadays, as I'm getting older, it's the worst one yet. So just like how (nowadays) that I have a feeling with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire being the worst Harry Potter film, Snoopy Come Home is the worst Snoopy film yet.

It was the first Charlie Brown movie I watched, although I did not cry, I was almost there ( when I was 5) and now I think of it, it is too depressing movie for a 5 year old,

well after this I did not watch any other Charlie Brown movies, I just read the strips so I cant compare the movies, but it will be one of the earliest movies in my childhood.

I cry when I watch it too. it's always hard for me to watch some of it, like when Snoopy and Lucy are boxing. the looks on their faces when they get hit...I dunno, it's hard to explain.

when I cried was a different spot. I cried when snoopy was leaving and Woodstock ran up to him and gave him a hug. That STILL gets me every time.

I was hopeless as a kid.

I was bawling my eyes out when he wasn't with Charlie Brown or the little girl, I wanted them to move together so Snoopy can fufill both their needs. Of course, things didn't happen that way and I ended up really depressed. Still liked the movie, but I couldn't bring myself to watch that (and the party and woodstock scenes) so I eventually stopped watching it.

Stuff like this reminds me of "Movie Poop Shoot.com" from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

OMG, me too, when I was about 7. Years later, when I was 12 I asked if we could rent it again, and my mom almost said no because she thought I would cry again! I love Snoopy, Come Home!

Yeah, I cried -- that's what I most remember about this film.

But for those who say it's too depressing for kids -- remember that is has a happy ending! And the tears I cried most were tears of joy when Snoopy CAME HOME!

The storyline about the girl in the hospital in this film, made alot of people sad. It's one of those things where they put a overly-sappy storyline into a kids' move/show, and then the parents are all like "That's so sad!" and the kids are like, "Snoopy & Woodstock, lol!"
